Keepsake Memories

Memories are precious snatches of life we store in our minds to remind us what being happiness is and all about the pain we had to endure to make victories sweeter.

I just finished reading about a lady who marveled about her new GPS-able SUV and the better features it has from their old outdated mini-van. After the enumerating about the state-of-the-art SUV, she compares it to the retired mini-van which was old and reeking. What the mini-van had over the GPS SUV was the memories it has stuck to it: smell, sight and sound. In the end she'd gladly get the mini-van back. How many times do people opt for the better and get to yearn for the former? Personally, its the memories that people can't let go of.
